In July 2021, the TAG Association partnered with BongoHive Innovations in the BongoHive Fintech Challenge. The Challenge is supported by FSD Zambia and is an opportunity for FinTech entrepreneurs to develop new solutions that address financial inclusion gaps within the Insurance sector. Our role in the Challenge has been to provide technical expertise to the selected participants.

On 25th November, three startups pitched their solutions on how to address the financial inclusion gaps within the inclusive insurance sector. Congratulations to Hobbiton Technologies and Mellow Fund for emerging as the two winning teams. They will be given technical support towards the development of a launchable prototype including access to necessary software support worth up to $28,000.00.
